NMECA Annual Conference: Rooted to Rise
Friday, August 28, 2026 8:00 AM - Saturday, August 29, 2026 4:15 PM (MDT)
Description
The New Mexico Early Childhood Association Annual Conference brings together early childhood professionals from across the state for two days of learning, leadership, connection, and support.
Friday, August 28 is designed for owners, directors, administrators, and early childhood leaders. This leadership-focused day will include timely topics, discussion about the current challenges programs are facing, and opportunities to connect with peers who understand the realities of leading in the early childhood field. Friday will also include a panel focused on connecting leaders with organizations, partners, and resources that can support program growth and expansion. For programs interested in expanding to help meet the needs of Universal Child Care in New Mexico, this session will offer helpful information and connections to consider your next steps.
Saturday, August 29 is designed for your full team, with professional development sessions that offer practical strategies and fresh ideas for the classroom and program environment. Topics will include classroom management, outdoor learning, loose parts play, and more. Join us for one or both days and be part of a statewide gathering focused on supporting early childhood professionals, strengthening programs, and building a stronger future for young children and families in New Mexico.
